Pr. Charley Joseph Zachariah

Hebron Fellowship Halifax

About

Pr. Charley Joseph Zachariah born and raised as the second child of Pr. Joseph Zachariah and Mrs. Valsamma Joseph. He received call for ministry while he was at his 12th grade. He joined Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala and graduated with Bachelor of Divinity at 2014. Based on the inspirations from the missionary chapel happening on every Wednesday at the Seminary, he went to Bihar for experiencing the North Indian Mission fields. There he served as teacher and youth pastor along with Pr. Laiju Abraham and Reach Nations Ministries. The countless experiences at the rural villages of North India moulded him as a vessel for great commission.

Later in 2015, he returned to pursue his Master of theology in Old Testament at Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala. Along with his studies he served as an assistant pastor to Rev. Dr. K. B. Georgekutty at Sharon Fellowship Church, Karingachira, Ernakulam. The in-depth study of the Word and its practical applications in a metro church prepared him for the next steps that God has designed for him. After the post-graduation, he began his ministry as a Seminary Lecturer in Mount Zion Bible Seminary, Mulakuzha. There he taught Old Testament to B. Th and M. Div. students from various parts of India. It helped him to raise a generation to share gospel across the Indian sub-continent.

Then God shifted him to Canada on 7 September 2018 to pursue his studies in Social Service Work. Along with studies, He served in Manna Fellowship, Scarborough and Jameson School of Theology, Mississauga at various roles. On 22 April 2020, He graduated from Seneca College at North York. Then, God moved him to Halifax, Nova Scotia on 9 November 2020. Currently he is doing a full time job with Department of Community Services, Nova Scotia and serves as the Pastor of Hebron Fellowship from its inception to this day.  As a pastor, he enjoys being with each one in the flock of Christ at the much needed moments in their life. He loves to share the love and care of “the good shepherd” which he received when he was in the place of the lost sheep.
