Who We Are

Hebron fellowship is a gathering of Malayalam speaking Indian community who worships Lord in truth and spirit in Malayalam language at Cape Breton and Halifax, Nova  Scotia.

Beginnings

Halifax

God laid the foundations of the fellowship in January 2021 amidst the COVID-19 crisis and pandemic.  As Israel walked through the still waters of the red sea(Exodus 14:29), Lord guided the fellowship when the world stood still. Initially, a handful of believers gathered in their own apartments  at Halifax and prayed for one another. Within few weeks God brought many more to these prayer cells and the numbers began to reach a level where they need a public place for the weekly fellowship. Thus God opened the doors of St. Andrews Church in downtown Halifax for the fellowship. From then to this day, Hebron is gathering in 6036 Coburg Road, Halifax, NS, B3H 1Y9 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Cape Breton

A Macedonian call was inevitable for Apostle Paul to set his sail to Macedonia (Acts 16:9). In the same way, Lord directed Hebron Fellowship to start a Malayalam worship at Cape Breton as it was the need of the hour. On 13th March 2021, Cape Breton witnessed first “Exalt music night” where multilinguistic community gathering with the urge to worship Lord and hear from His word. It lead Hebron to host a series of music nights in the following months with the partnership of other ministries at Cape Breton. This resulted in the bi-weekly Sunday morning Malayalam Worship Service in Light House  Church, 224 York Street, Glace Bay, NS B1A 2L8 from 8:30 am to 9:45 am.

Hebron, the diaspora from Kerala, have the longingness of sincere Prayers, in-depth Bible Study and warmth of fellowship. This is where we call it Home!
