THE YEAR OF OPENNESS
Dear Beloved in Christ,
As we reflect on this season of grace, I am reminded of the precious bond we share as a community of believers. This year, our church has continued to grow, not just in numbers, but in faith, love, and commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ. As Hebronites, we are a family, each of us striving to worship God in spirit and in truth, as He has called us to do (John 4:24). It is truly a blessing to witness how God is moving in our lives.
This year, the Lord has spoken to my heart about 2025 being the Year of Openness. In a time when the world around us often promotes division and isolation, God is calling us to open our hearts wider—to Him, to one another, and to the world to share the gospel as He assigned us to do. As we open our hearts to God, we embrace His plans for our lives, His calling for our church, and His vision for our community. In this season of openness, we are called to be transparent in our worship, bold in our faith, and generous in our love.
The Year of Openness means more than just physical openness. It means an openness to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to work freely in our lives, leading us into deeper encounters with God. It also means a willingness to open our hearts to others, welcoming those in need, offering comfort and support, and being a reflection of God’s love in everything we do.
As we continue to gather together each week, I encourage each of you to examine your own life and ask the Lord to show you areas where you can be more open. Let us be open to hearing His voice, open to serving one another, and open to the possibilities He has for us as a church. I believe that as we live in this spirit of openness, God will do great things among us, transforming our church and our community.
Let us press forward in this new season with great anticipation, trusting that as we seek God with open hearts, He will lead us into a deeper relationship with Him and a more powerful impact on the world around us.
